Pediatrica Health Group, a multi-site pediatric primary care provider focused on value-based healthcare, has secured $28 million in funding led by Valspring Capital, with continued participation from M33 Growth. The investment will support expansion across Florida and Texas, strengthen technology and clinical infrastructure, and accelerate acquisitions.
Expanding Pediatric Care
Pediatrica operates 21 locations delivering primary care services for children and families. The new funding will help expand access through additional clinics, provider recruitment, operational improvements, and enhanced value-based care capabilities.
“This investment reflects the momentum we have built and the confidence our partners have in our ability to reimagine, improve, and expand equitable access to pediatric primary care. Our partnership with M33 gave us the runway to prove our model and demonstrate what is possible when you remove barriers for providers and put families first. With their continued support, along with Valspring’s, we are positioned to carry that work further – reach more children, more communities, and connect more families to the quality pediatric primary care they deserve,” commented Roberto Palenzuela.
Supporting Long-Term Growth
Valspring Capital invested in Pediatrica to support its strategy of improving patient access while enhancing provider experience. The funding will enable continued organic growth alongside strategic acquisitions, helping the company scale its Next Generation CareSM model.
“Pediatrica reflects our thesis that lasting change in healthcare is driven by companies that innovate on the patient and provider experience to deliver better outcomes. Roberto and his team have built something truly unique. Going beyond traditional care, their model nurtures communities and empowers providers while expanding access to high-quality, coordinated pediatric primary care for all families, including those underserved. We are proud to partner with Pediatrica and M33 to support this purpose-driven team to bring Next Generation CareSM to more communities,” said Yumin Choi, Managing Partner of Valspring.
Backing Future Expansion
Existing investor M33 Growth also participated in the round, continuing its long-term partnership with the company. The investment positions Pediatrica to expand its network, improve healthcare delivery, and serve more families across underserved communities.
