Spotify Introduces Interactive Comments for Podcast Episodes

Article hero image

Finally, Spotify is introducing a new feature that allows you to leave comments on podcast episodes. This gives creators an additional way to interact with fans, complementing existing tools like polls and Q&As.

Comments on Spotify will default to private (similar to Q&A responses), requiring creators to approve each comment before it appears. Creators can decide whether to enable comments for their entire show or specific episodes. They also have the option to opt out of the feature entirely if they prefer not to allow comments.
