HIVED has announced the successful close of a $42 million Series B funding round, led by NordicNinja, with continued support from existing investors including Planet A, Wex Venture Capital, Marunouchi Innovation Partners, Elemental Impact, Yamato Holdings, Future Back Ventures (by Bain & Company), and Rocketship VC.
This new funding milestone will support the expansion of HIVED’s operations across the UK, the strengthening of the engineering and data teams, and the further development of the proprietary logistics intelligence platform, HIVEDmind. This investment advances HIVED's mission to scale its AI-powered, customer-focused, all-electric parcel delivery network nationwide.
The UK currently represents the third-largest ecommerce market globally — after China and the US — contributing approximately 10% to national GDP. While legacy logistics companies retrofit outdated systems to meet ecommerce demands, HIVED has developed an end-to-end parcel delivery system specifically tailored for ecommerce from inception. The HIVEDmind platform leverages artificial intelligence, real-time data, and modern systems architecture to seamlessly connect retailers, warehouses, drivers, and customers within one unified ecosystem.
Following the seed round in 2021 and a Series A in 2023, HIVED has successfully delivered more than 6.5 million parcels across Greater London for prominent brands such as John Lewis, Nespresso, Uniqlo, and Zara — with a 99% on-time delivery rate. The team has grown to over 120 professionals, with 20% of the current workforce originally joining as drivers. The new capital will accelerate recruitment, city expansion, and enhancement of proprietary machine learning models.
Thanks to real-time tracking and delivery intelligence, “Where Is My Order” (WISMO) enquiries have decreased by more than 90% when compared to traditional carriers. HIVED’s claims rate—covering issues such as lost or damaged parcels — outperforms industry averages by more than 10x. These operational efficiencies contribute to a customer satisfaction rating consistently above 90%, compared to the industry average of just 32%.
Murvah Iqbal, Co-founder and CEO of HIVED, stated: “Parcel delivery should feel seamless, not stressful, but most of the industry is still running on systems that were never designed for ecommerce.
At HIVED, we’ve taken a fresh approach – rethinking everything from first principles, putting technology and experience at the centre, and proving there’s a better way to do this at scale. This raise is a huge step forward in making great delivery the norm, not the exception.”
