telli, an AI platform helping B2C companies automate customer-facing sales, service and support operations, raised $15 million in seed funding led by redalpine. Strategic investors Mutschler and several angel investors participated alongside existing backers Cherry Ventures and Y Combinator.
Automating Customer Communication With AI
telli enables businesses to build and deploy AI agents across voice, chat, SMS, WhatsApp and email while managing conversations and automating operational workflows. Charlie, the platform’s AI coworker, helps customer-facing teams create agents, connect systems, analyze interactions, identify issues, run experiments and improve communication performance.
Handling Millions of Customer Conversations
telli’s AI agents already process millions of conversations for businesses ranging from SMBs to large enterprises, including Sky, Enpal and Vaillant. Applications include answering calls, qualifying leads, booking appointments, managing follow-ups and resolving customer requests.
Expanding the Platform and Team
The $15 million investment will support telli’s next stage of growth as AI increasingly transforms communication between consumers and businesses. Expansion plans include further development of Charlie and hiring across more than 15 roles in engineering, go-to-market and customer operations.
