Jump has secured a $23M Series A funding round to provide professional sports teams with the control and modern infrastructure long overdue in the industry. The round was led by Alexis Ohanian and the team at Seven Seven Six, with participation from existing backers Forerunner Ventures, Courtside Ventures, Will Ventures, Drive by DraftKings, and additional team owner investors. The company’s unified fan experience platform replaces outdated, fragmented tools with a single, purpose-built solution, enabling sports organizations to operate like modern, data-driven businesses.

The investment comes at a pivotal time, as the sports industry experiences a shift toward tech-savvy, digitally focused ownership seeking direct relationships with fans. Jump’s platform has already demonstrated its capabilities by powering a professional club’s record-breaking home opener with zero operational issues, while managing ticketing, sales, marketing, and operations in one system. Momentum continues with upcoming NBA and WNBA implementations, proving the platform’s ability to deliver personalized, automated, and seamless fan journeys at scale.

“When our CEO Jordy Leiser and Alexis reconnected around this opportunity, their shared vision was immediately clear,” the release states. “As a trailblazing entrepreneur and sports team owner, Alexis knows this pain firsthand. He's a builder first, investor second, with deep conviction in the future we're creating – one where sports teams can finally break free from outdated constraints and operate like the D2C brands they truly are.” Seven Seven Six shares the belief that lasting value in sports lies not only in media rights or ticket transactions, but in the depth of fan connection and lifetime engagement.

The new capital will accelerate product innovation, bringing advanced tools, automation, and AI-driven personalization to teams while enhancing fan experiences. The platform is also compatible with venues maintaining legacy ticketing systems for concerts, as demonstrated at the Target Center in Minneapolis, where the MN Timberwolves and Lynx will use Jump for sports events while concerts remain under AXS. With the next decade of sports expected to be defined by organizations that take full control of their fan data and operations, Jump positions itself as the leading vertical software to meet the industry’s evolving needs.
