Key Takeaways:

  • Fleuret AI raised €4M led by RAISE Ventures.
  • AI agents automate continuous penetration testing.
  • Funding will support hiring and European expansion.

Fleuret AI, a French cybersecurity startup automating penetration testing with agentic AI, has raised €4 million in funding led by RAISE Ventures. Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind Capital, Better Angle and cybersecurity angel investors also participated.

The platform replaces periodic penetration tests with continuous security monitoring, covering exposed systems, vulnerability detection, exploitation testing, remediation and verification.

Automating Penetration Testing With AI

Fleuret AI uses two AI agents, Emile and Champollion, to map company environments and test applications, APIs and infrastructure for vulnerabilities. Detected weaknesses include proof of compromise demonstrating potential exploitation.

Continuous monitoring tracks changes in attack surfaces and can initiate additional security tests. The platform also supports vulnerability prioritisation, engineering integrations, automatic re-testing and remediation verification.

“We do not simply want to automate penetration testing as it exists today. Our ambition is to build the offensive security layer that will keep companies secure all year round, whatever their size. This round gives us the means to accelerate that vision and to build a platform designed for enterprise environments from day one.” — Yanis Grigy, CEO and co-founder, Fleuret AI

Expanding Across Europe

Fleuret AI has around ten employees and customers including Brevo, Stoïk and Yogosha. The new funding will support hiring across AI, software engineering and offensive security while accelerating platform development.

European infrastructure supports companies operating under growing security and data sovereignty requirements, particularly across regulated industries.

“AI has changed the nature of cyberattacks by putting powerful tools within everyone's reach, often for free. Organisations have to test their security against every attack technique, including the newest. Fleuret built its platform to evolve continuously and stay a step ahead of attackers, with a team that puts AI to work for deep offensive expertise. We are convinced Fleuret can become the reference in offensive security in Europe.” — Thibaut Schlaeppi, Co-Head, RAISE Ventures
