Hong Kong-based AI startup Omnichat has raised $10 million in Series A funding to expand its AI agent platform for marketing, sales and customer service. The round was led by Openspace Capital, with participation from Darwin Ventures and Acorn Pacific Ventures. The company will use the investment to scale its Omni AI Agents suite, strengthen research and development, and accelerate international expansion beyond its existing Asia-Pacific operations.

Founded in 2017 by Alan Chan, CEO, Omnichat develops an AI-powered customer experience platform that helps businesses manage conversations and transactions across multiple messaging channels. The company initially focused on conversational commerce and has since expanded into AI agents capable of executing marketing, sales and customer service tasks directly within customer conversations.

Building AI Agents for Marketing, Sales and Customer Service

Businesses increasingly use messaging platforms to communicate with customers, but managing these interactions across different channels can require significant manual work. Omnichat brings marketing automation, sales conversion and customer support into a single platform, connecting customer interactions to unified profiles and allowing companies to track how conversations contribute to revenue.

In 2026, the company introduced Omni AI Agents, a suite of specialised agents designed to automate different stages of the customer journey. Its AI Marketing Agent creates customer segments and messaging campaigns from a single prompt, while the AI Sales Agent recommends products and supports purchases within conversations. The AI Customer Service Agent handles customer enquiries around the clock, and OmniClaw, an AI business analyst, monitors customer behaviour, messaging trends and revenue attribution across stores.

The platform operates across WhatsApp, LINE, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WeChat, KakaoTalk and TikTok. Unlike conventional shared-inbox tools, Omnichat connects interactions across these channels to a single customer profile and tracks revenue generated through conversations, including purchases completed in physical stores. This allows businesses to evaluate the commercial impact of messaging alongside customer engagement and service performance.

According to Omnichat, approximately 300 brands adopted OmniClaw within two months of its launch in June 2026. Over the same period, the number of brands using its AI Marketing Agent tripled, reflecting growing adoption of the company’s agent-based tools.

Funding to Support Global Expansion

Omnichat reports working with more than 5,000 clients worldwide and helping them generate over $100 million in revenue through its platform. Its customer base includes international brands such as Dyson, FILA, Watsons, L’OCCITANE, VF Corporation, SMCP and Mead Johnson. The company also operates as a Meta Business Partner, WhatsApp Business Solution Provider and LINE Biz-Solutions Tech Partner.

The $10 million Series A will support further development of Omni AI Agents, with a focus on expanding automation capabilities and strengthening the platform’s underlying AI technology. Omnichat also plans to increase its presence in international markets, building on its existing operations across the Asia-Pacific region.

The investment was led by Openspace Capital, a Singapore-headquartered investment firm focused on Southeast Asia, with participation from Darwin Ventures and Acorn Pacific Ventures. The funding will help Omnichat expand its AI-driven commerce offering as businesses seek to automate customer interactions while connecting marketing, sales and support activities to measurable commercial outcomes.

With the new capital, Omnichat aims to move further beyond traditional conversational commerce by enabling AI agents to execute business tasks directly within the messaging platforms customers already use.
