Key Takeaways:

  • Rayon raised €10M led by Partech.
  • Funding will support AI tools, 3D capabilities and global expansion.
  • More than four million drawings have been created on the platform.

Rayon, a collaborative browser-based design platform for interior designers and architecture teams, has raised €10 million in funding led by Partech, with continued backing from Northzone, Foundamental and Seedcamp. The investment follows more than four million drawings created on the platform and growth to a 35-person team.

The funding will support AI development, the introduction of 3D capabilities and international expansion across the interior design market.

Bringing AI Into Interior Design

Rayon combines floor plans, styling, specifications and schedules in a shared browser-based workspace, allowing design teams to develop projects from initial layouts through execution.

The company plans to integrate generative tools, AI-powered workflows and agentic AI directly into the drawing environment. New capabilities will allow designers to use AI while maintaining control over project geometry, specifications and other technical details.

Expanding the Design Platform

The investment will also support the introduction of 3D functionality through Rayon V4, scheduled for later this year. The update will connect traditional plans with spatial project views while expanding AI-assisted design capabilities.

Recent releases include a mobile-first version of Rayon, presentation tools, client-sharing functionality and an expanded template library. The additions target a global interior design industry valued by the company at nearly €50 billion.

Scaling Product and Team

Rayon has grown to 35 employees and plans further hiring as product development accelerates. Partech joins existing investors Northzone, Foundamental and Seedcamp in supporting the next stage of growth.

The funding will help expand access to Rayon globally while advancing a design environment where AI and designers can work together across real interior projects.
