Spiich, a Stockholm-based AI sales technology company developing agents that automate non-selling work for sales teams, has raised €3 million in funding led by Ugly Duckling Ventures. Alliance VC and Cherry Ventures joined as new investors, while Ampli Ventures followed on from the previous round. The investment brings total funding to €3.6 million.
Founded by Johan Torssell and Dennis Hadzialic, Spiich focuses on automating prospecting, planning, data entry and other administrative sales tasks, allowing salespeople to spend more time building customer relationships.
Automating Work Around Sales
Spiich positions AI as support for salespeople rather than a replacement. The platform handles work surrounding customer relationships while sales teams focus on conversations and closing deals.
"Have you ever bought anything from an AI agent? Almost nobody has. You buy from someone you trust to deliver. Every deal I have ever closed came down to that. We didn't build Spiich to replace salespeople. We built it so they can finally sell." — Johan Torssell, CEO and co-founder of Spiich
Customers using the platform have reported twice as many customer meetings, a 90% reduction in prospecting time and three times greater market coverage.
Expanding Across Europe
Spiich has reached 50 customers across 15 countries in Europe, the US and South America, including NORNORM, ProfitMetrics, Zaver, Airmee, Rebaba and Epiminds. Customers have closed more than 50,000 deals through the platform.
The new funding will support engineering and go-to-market hiring as Spiich expands across Europe. Product development will also focus on the company’s intelligence layer, which analyses meetings, emails, internal notes and external signals to identify activity across customer relationships.
"Every sales tool of the last decade promised to give reps their time back, and most of them delivered another system to keep updated. Spiich is the first we've seen that does the non-selling work rather than assisting with it. What convinced us wasn't the demo, it was what happened after go-live: accounts expanding within weeks because teams kept finding more work to hand over. Johan and Dennis pair engineering judgement well above their stage with a commercial instinct you rarely find in the same founding team. That's why we led the round." — Louise Lachmann, Partner at Ugly Duckling Ventures
