TODAY, an AI startup developing software for financial and insurance advisors, has secured €2.8 million in Seed funding to expand its platform and automate more of the work involved in financial advisory services.

The round was co-led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Insurtech Gateway, with participation from SeedX, Lucid Capital and angel investors, including former HDI CEO Herbert Rogenhofer and tech11 founder Pierre Dubosq.

Automating Financial Advisory Workflows With AI

Founded in 2024 by Michael Gackstatter, CEO, and Artem Demchenkov, CTO, TODAY operates from Copenhagen and Berlin. The co-founders previously held roles at fintech and insurtech companies, including CLARK, Funding Circle and Billie.

The company’s AI Sales Operating System helps financial and insurance advisors manage tasks before, during and after client meetings. Its AI agents transcribe conversations, prepare meeting notes, handle routine back-office work, answer incoming calls and provide sales coaching.

According to TODAY, advisors using the platform save an average of five hours per week on administrative work and see revenue increases of up to 10%. The company also reports that its technology helps advisors capture an average of 50 times more insights from client conversations.

“While AI reshuffles financial advice, we scale the human touch. Our agents take over the admin, so advisors can spend their time with clients. With our strong investors on board, we will bring this to every advisory team in DACH.”

— Michael Gackstatter, TODAY CEO

Expanding Across the DACH Market

TODAY reports that more than 3,500 financial and insurance advisors across Germany, Austria and Switzerland use its platform, including professionals at major insurers, distributors and independent brokerage firms.

The new financing will support further development and commercialisation of TODAY’s AI platform, with a focus on expanding its presence across the DACH region.

The company also plans to extend its AI capabilities across the full range of front-office and back-office tasks performed by financial advisors, building on its existing tools for meeting documentation, administrative automation and client communication.
