Vilnius, Lithuania-based AI startup Holo has raised €5 million in Seed funding to expand its marketing platform for small businesses.
The round was led by Market One Capital, with participation from Silicon Gardens, FirstPick, Leonis Capital, NGL, Tekton Ventures and business angels.
Before the round, Holo had raised less than €1 million. According to the company, it reached $5 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within 252 days and now has more than 20,000 paying business customers across over 100 countries.
Automating Marketing for Small Businesses
Founded in Vilnius by Deividas Kovger, who leads product, and Aleksandras Urbanavicius, who leads growth, Holo develops an AI-powered platform that helps small businesses plan and execute marketing campaigns.
The founding team also includes Karolis Vaiginis, who leads design, and CTO Arnas Puidokas.
To get started, business owners enter their website into Holo. The platform analyses their products or services, brand identity and communication style before generating a marketing plan based on their goals.
It recommends which marketing channels to use, what campaigns to launch and which activities to prioritise.
Holo then creates advertising materials, social media posts, email campaigns and SEO content aligned with the business’s brand voice.
Users can review, edit and approve content before publication or enable automated execution for selected tasks.
The platform also tracks campaign performance and recommends adjustments based on results, including changes to advertising budgets or content formats.
“Most small business owners we talk to are great at what they do, and almost none of them started a business to do marketing. We think that within a few years a small business will be able to market the way the biggest brands do, with a real plan, constant testing and a clear decision every week about what to do next, and the owner won’t have to think about it any more than they think about how their bank processes payments. More than 20,000 businesses already pay for Holo, which tells us owners are ready for that, and this round is about getting them there faster,” says Aleksandras Urbanavicius, co-founder of Holo.
Developing Marketing Autopilot
Holo uses third-party AI models alongside its proprietary technology, including a brand memory system that retains each customer’s tone and visual identity, a strategy engine that generates marketing plans and a creative system informed by previous campaign performance.
According to the company, its technology draws on performance data from millions of pieces of content created through the platform.
The new funding will support further development of Holo’s marketing autopilot, allowing more activities to run without requiring manual approval.
Holo also plans to expand its customer reach and grow its team in Vilnius as it develops its AI-powered marketing capabilities for small businesses.
