US-based travel technology startup Intellivisa has raised $3 million in pre-seed funding to scale its AI-powered platform for automating international travel requirements.

The round was co-led by Mu Ventures and Incisive Ventures, with participation from Uncommon Denominator, Recursive Ventures, P2S: AltaIR Capital and Smart Partnership Capital, and United Airlines Ventures.

The financing follows an angel round in 2025 backed by Naman Budhdeo, former founder and CEO of FlightNetwork and TripStack; Bobby Patrick, former CMO of UiPath; Andy Hunn, co-founder of Resonate; and early-stage investor Antler.

Automating Visa and Travel Requirements With AI

Co-founded by CEO Sudeepa Singh and Srijan Magon, Intellivisa develops an AI-powered clearance platform that helps international travelers complete visa, entry and compliance requirements before arriving at the airport.

The platform integrates into the post-booking workflows of airlines, travel management companies and online travel agencies.

Based on a traveler’s passport, destination and itinerary, Intellivisa identifies the necessary entry requirements and uses AI agents to verify documents, check for potential fraud, complete forms and submit visa applications and travel authorizations.

The system also manages payments, filings and refunds directly with travelers.

According to the company, Intellivisa supports more than 50 document types across 195 countries and multiple languages, covering business, tourism and study-related travel.

Most applications are submitted within minutes and approved within 10 to 12 hours, with the company reporting an approval rate above 99%.

“Today, a traveler has two options for clearing international borders. They do it themselves, researching the rules, figuring out which documents count, filling out forms, managing declarations, scheduling embassy appointments and submitting everything to the government, hoping they got it right. Or they pay a lot for an agency to do it for them. Neither option is ideal, and both are full of friction,” said Sudeepa Singh, CEO and Co-founder of Intellivisa. “Intellivisa replaces that guesswork, paperwork and manual work with AI agents built directly into the travel experience. This round takes us beyond visa processing and toward full-stack clearance. Our goal is to make Intellivisa the step no traveler skips before boarding, so every traveler arrives at the airport already cleared.”

Scaling the Travel Clearance Platform

Intellivisa will use the new funding to scale its agentic AI platform and expand its capabilities beyond visa processing to cover a broader range of international travel requirements.

The company is targeting deeper integration with airlines, travel management companies and online travel agencies, allowing travelers to address entry requirements immediately after booking.

Its longer-term goal is to automate the clearance process across different destinations, passport types and travel purposes through a single platform.
