Paris, France-based software company Wiremind has raised €35 million in its first external funding round to expand its international operations and develop new AI capabilities for transport and event businesses.

The investment brings three new investors into the company: IronWave, formerly Wendel Growth; Bpifrance Investissement through its Large Venture fund; and Seaya Andromeda. Wiremind’s co-founders, CEO Colin Girault-Matz and CTO Charles Pierre, remain majority shareholders and retain control of the business.

From Bootstrapped Startup to International Software Provider

Founded in 2014 by Girault-Matz and Pierre, Wiremind develops software that helps transport operators and event organisers forecast demand, manage capacity, optimise pricing and distribute inventory.

The company had operated without external funding since its founding and remained profitable. According to Wiremind, its revenue increased by 67% in 2025, while its customer base grew to more than 80 clients, including 23 new customers during the year.

Its flagship product, CAYZN, uses machine learning to support revenue management decisions for passenger transport operators. The system is used by more than 20 operators worldwide, including SNCF, Trenitalia, Eurostar, Transavia and National Express.

Wiremind also develops PAXONE, an inventory and distribution platform for passenger transport, and EVENTORI, which combines ticketing, revenue management and analytics for sports clubs and event organisers.

In 2025, CAYZN’s annual recurring revenue grew by 81% year over year. EVENTORI recorded 140% growth during the same year, with more than two million tickets analysed through its platform.

Expanding Internationally and Developing Generative AI

Wiremind plans to use the financing to accelerate its expansion in South America and enter additional markets in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, building on its existing presence in Europe and North America.

The company will also increase investment in its machine learning and AI research and development. Its existing systems use proprietary forecasting models and optimisation algorithms to help customers make pricing, capacity and inventory decisions.

Wiremind is now integrating generative AI into CAYZN and PAXONE, including pricing recommendations with explainable reasoning, natural-language automation of business rules and automatically generated performance reports.

“Charles and I began our careers more than fifteen years ago in the rail and aviation industries, so we have a unique understanding of the challenges our clients face. It is this first-hand knowledge that we leveraged to grow Wiremind over the years, while staying completely self-financed and investing in our own R&D. Today, we’re accelerating our efforts given the speed at which the market is adopting artificial intelligence tools.

This financing round will allow us to reach rapidly growing geographic markets where decisions on technology investments are being made right now,” said Colin Girault-Matz, CEO and co-founder of Wiremind.

The company will continue developing its existing optimisation technology while adding large language models to its decision-making systems and user interfaces.
