Wyre AI, a construction technology startup using artificial intelligence to automate preconstruction analysis, has raised $5 million in funding led by Ironspring Ventures. WND Ventures, the corporate venture arm of DPR Construction, and Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation also participated.
The investment will support platform development, team expansion and wider adoption among contractors.
Automating Preconstruction Analysis
Wyre AI analyzes complete sets of construction drawings and specifications to generate scope packages within hours. The platform identifies missing information and contradictions before bidding, helping construction teams address potential issues before projects move forward.
Preconstruction teams traditionally review large volumes of project information under tight deadlines, creating opportunities for overlooked details that can later result in change orders and additional costs. Wyre AI applies AI to automate much of the document analysis while supporting faster project decisions.
Scaling Across Construction Projects
Wyre AI has analyzed more than 250 projects, identified over 250,000 scopes and issues, and supported projects representing more than $3 billion in value.
The $5 million investment will support deeper platform capabilities, additional hiring and broader deployment among contractors, with a focus on improving early-stage project planning and reducing costly issues before construction begins.
