Duranta, a software platform revolutionizing operations for landscapers and lawn care professionals, has raised a $7 million seed round. Leading the investment are prominent Silicon Valley firms including Base10 Partners, Pear, Coalition Operators, and Sunshine Lake. The round also attracted notable angel investors such as GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke and PagerDuty co-founder and CTO Andrew Miklas.

Focused on outdoor service professionals — those responsible for shaping spaces where people live, heal, play, and connect — Duranta is developing a modern operating system tailored to the industry. At the core of this platform is AIdan, a proprietary AI model designed to automatically measure property details and assist in generating visually compelling customer proposals. AIdan integrates with a user-friendly toolkit that includes landscape design capabilities, invoicing features, and a CRM to help green service businesses increase customer acquisition and optimize workflow efficiency.

“Duranta is designed to help landscapers and lawn care professionals run stronger, more profitable businesses,” said Samuel Adeyemo, Duranta’s co-founder and CEO. “We’ve seen customers eliminate time-consuming site visits and close major contracts using our product. That’s a huge shift for an industry that is underserved by the latest technology.”

Founded in Seattle, WA, Duranta was launched by engineers behind Aurora Solar, a leading cleantech software platform in the U.S. The founding team brings experience from Amazon, Google, Airbnb, Figma, and Datadog. With the newly secured funding, Duranta plans to scale product development, expand the engineering team, and enhance support for small businesses working to create and maintain cherished outdoor environments.
