Tebi Raises €30M to Build Hospitality’s Financial OS

Tebi has closed a €30 million Series B round, led by Alphabet’s CapitalG, with participation from Index Ventures. The latest investment brings total funding to €56 million — secured just eight months after announcing the Series A round.

At the heart of Tebi lies a belief: hospitality owners don’t enter the industry to juggle multiple disconnected software tools or perform late-night inventory counts. The real motivation stems from a passion for craft, community, and the joy of delivering unforgettable customer experiences.

Despite this, most available technology solutions in hospitality have been fragmented, outdated, and designed without insight into the pressures of a real dinner rush. Existing systems separate point-of-sale from payments, use paper for kitchen orders, scatter reservations across platforms, and manage inventory in spreadsheets — a tangled mess passed off as "solutions."

Tebi offers a fundamentally different approach. Instead of stacking yet another tool onto an already crowded system, the company replaces fragmented systems with a unified financial operating system built to reflect the true nature of hospitality operations. The Tebi OS integrates POS, payments, kitchen displays, reservations, inventory, and bookkeeping into a single, real-time accounting core — "because at the end of the day, every transaction tells a story about your business."

Central to this system is a technical accounting innovation known as "subledgers" — independent, communicating ledgers capable of scaling from individual invoices to large-scale enterprise operations. This architecture supports the fast, seamless experience that modern hospitality operations demand.

The company is also leveraging artificial intelligence to transform outdated workflows. AI-driven onboarding enables quick setup, while embedded intelligence anticipates needs, automates repetitive tasks, and delivers actionable insights to support hospitality professionals.

Tebi merchants in the Netherlands are already processing transactions totaling nine figures annually. Today marks the official launch in the UK, with further international expansion on the horizon.

New capital will be used to strengthen product, engineering, and operations teams, furthering development of a top-tier platform built for and with hospitality professionals. The current team of 35 is expected to grow to 70 in the near future.

With this funding, Tebi will accelerate expansion, scale the team, and continue building tools tailored for an industry that thrives on care, craft, and customer delight.
