Weego, a Moroccan–Senegalese mobility startup developing integrated urban transportation platforms, announced $1.1M in new funding led by early-stage venture capital firm Azur Innovation Fund. Investment will support expansion of integrated mobility services across Morocco and broader African markets.
Integrated Mobility Platform
Weego operates a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) application combining multiple urban transport options into a single digital platform. The application enables access and booking across public transit, ride-sharing services, and additional mobility modes, creating connectivity between public and private transportation networks within cities.
“Transportation is the primary obstacle to economic activity, and we are building the technological layer that will make infrastructure more efficient,” said Saad Jittou, Co-founder and CEO of Weego.
Corporate Mobility Solutions
Weego also offers WeegoLines, a staff transportation service designed for corporate clients. The platform enables businesses to manage employee transport more efficiently while improving operational reliability and cost control. Data-driven coordination adds structure and visibility to fragmented urban mobility systems.
Expansion Strategy
New funding will support expansion into additional Moroccan cities and development of corporate mobility services. Plans include scaling the multimodal platform and preparing entry into new markets across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
