Agreenculture, a France-based startup developing autonomy and safety solutions for agricultural machinery and tractors, announced a €6 million Series A equity round from Supernova Invest, Future Food Fund, and Unilis (Unigrains Group), alongside a credit facility secured from Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31. The financing supports product industrialisation, standardisation, and accelerated commercial deployment, strengthening Agreenculture’s ability to help machinery and tractor manufacturers deploy safe, reliable autonomous machines across multiple markets.
Agreenculture is addressing growing labour shortages in agriculture by enabling safe automation of farming operations. The company provides manufacturers with the plug-and-play AGC Autonomy Kit, designed to deliver precision, autonomy, and safety for machines and tractors. Using Safencing®, a secure geofencing technology, machines can operate independently in the field without local supervision, allowing extended operating hours, remote task monitoring, and greater trust in autonomous performance.
“Our ambition for every manufacturer is to provide a simple and safe autonomy kit capable of working without local supervision in the field. Providing tangible performance gains and generating cost and time savings for farmers.” affirms Christophe Aubé, CEO of Agreenculture. “We want manufacturers to focus on their core business. We bring them a reliable, interoperable, ready-to-use product and to accelerate the deployment of autonomy in the fields.” explains Clément Baron, CTO of Agreenculture.
Autonomous operations supported by Agreenculture enable productivity gains while protecting operators’ health, reducing manual workloads, and improving overall farm efficiency. The technology also supports the transition from conventional to regenerative farming by reducing soil compaction through smaller machines, lowering fuel consumption, improving affordability of cover cropping, and enabling more precise application of fertilizers and pesticides.
“As an impact food & agri investor, we were an early investor in and have followed the developments of autonomous tractors and machines closely. Autonomous tractors and machines should not be seen simply as a way to relieve farmers of the burden of driving, but as a unique opportunity to change the way farming is done. We regard the management of Agreenculture as visionaries, spearheading this shift from conventional to regenerative farming,“ said Jeroen Kimmels, Managing Partner at Future Food Fund.
Agreenculture is the first technology supplier to offer a certified, ready-to-integrate Autonomy Kit for off-road use. The AGC Autonomy Kit combines Safencing® with S-RTK positioning to ensure compliance with European regulations while enabling machines to operate safely without local supervision. The solution is designed for straightforward integration by machinery manufacturers seeking reliable autonomous navigation.
“Agreenculture stands at the forefront of autonomous farming technologies. Their certified, safety-first approach is a decisive advantage for manufacturers seeking reliable automation solutions. We are proud to support a team whose technology is poised to become a market standard in Europe and beyond”, said Romain Sautrau, Partner at Supernova Invest.
Founded by Christophe Aubé, Clément Baron, and Emmanuel Goua de Baix, Agreenculture collaborates with leading agricultural manufacturers including Pellenc, Kubota, and Kuhn, as well as innovative companies such as Fieldworkers and Trabotyx. These partnerships demonstrate how Agreenculture’s technology accelerates the launch of certified autonomous machines and supports a productive and sustainable transformation of agricultural operations.
“As a farmer-backed investor focused on innovations for field crops, we support technologies that enable producers to spend more time on higher-value agronomic decisions and market opportunities – while safely and reliably automating repetitive tasks when it makes sense. Beyond responding to labour constraints, Agreenculture contributes to the productive and sustainable transition of agricultural operations. We look forward to supporting Agreenculture in this new stage of its development.” said Jean-François Hurel, Director of Unilis Agtech.
