Blaze.tech, an AI-powered no-code platform for building compliant healthcare applications, raised $8.5 million in pre-seed funding, including new capital from healthcare-focused venture firm Friale. The investment will support healthcare product development, deeper integrations with health systems and clearinghouses, and team expansion.

Building Healthcare Software with AI

Blaze enables healthcare organizations to create patient portals, scheduling systems, custom EMRs, billing tools and prescribing workflows while supporting real patient data and EHR connectivity. The platform combines AI-powered application generation with structured databases, auditable workflows and separate development, staging and production environments.

"Our mission is to make building healthcare software radically easier, so anyone with an idea to improve healthcare can have the power to build it," said Nanxi Liu, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Blaze.tech. "We built Blaze for that last mile — production apps that handle real patient data, write back into EHRs, and send prescriptions nationwide."

Compliance and Security

Blaze is SOC 2 Type II certified and holds HITRUST e1 certification, alongside signed BAAs, audit trails, native e-prescribing and EHR integrations. Healthcare organizations ranging from individual physicians to Fortune 500 companies use the platform for clinical and administrative workflows.

"In healthcare, speed only matters if you can trust what you ship," said Tina Wojcik, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Blaze.tech. "That's why we pair AI generation with deterministic, auditable workflows, guardrails on every AI action, and separate development, staging, and production environments to protect live patient data. Healthcare teams get the velocity of AI with the control of enterprise software baked in from day one."

Product and Team Expansion

The new funding will expand healthcare-specific capabilities, strengthen integrations and support hiring as customer demand grows. Friale, founded by members of the family behind HCA Healthcare, selected Blaze as the venture firm’s first investment.
