As organisations move from experimentation to execution, a new one-day conference launching in London will focus on how AI and automation are being implemented responsibly, securely and at scale across real business environments.

Taking place on 25 February 2026 at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington, the AI & Automation Conference: Improving Business Efficiencies brings together cross-sector leaders to examine what practical AI adoption looks like today — and what it requires to deliver measurable operational impact.

Developed following the success of the long-running Operational Excellence & Business Improvement conference, the event is designed to cut through hype and address the full lifecycle of AI and automation adoption. The agenda spans governance and regulation, cost and ROI, data privacy and GDPR, workforce impact, machine learning and robotics, and the role of human-centric design in automation strategies.

Across the day, 25 senior speakers will share deployment experience and lessons learned from inside large, complex organisations. Perspectives include leaders from NatWest, Schroders, Reckitt, Centrica, easyJet, Lloyds Banking Group, Mars, Novartis, Scania, Pets at Home and Deutsche Bank.

Sessions focus on how organisations are embedding AI into day-to-day workflows, setting effective guardrails for compliance and ethics, and balancing automation with workforce trust and capability. Interactive panels and peer discussions will explore governance frameworks, investment decisions, organisational readiness and the risks of moving too fast — or too cautiously.

Designed for in-house leaders across operations, AI, automation, data, digital transformation and change, the conference emphasises practical decision-making, shared learning and realistic next steps for 2026 and beyond.
