BoomPop, an AI-powered event planning platform designed to create meaningful in-person experiences, announced $25M in funding. The round was led by Wing VC, with participation from Atomic, Acme Capital, Four Rivers, Thayer Investment Partners, the Fund of Operators Guild, Gaingels, Zypsy, and investors including Alex Rodriguez, Brian O’Malley, Dane Glasgow, Christopher Payne, and other leading Silicon Valley founders.
The platform addresses the growing fatigue with contactless, screen-driven interactions. BoomPop automates logistics while enabling people to focus on what technology cannot provide: authentic connection, laughter, and shared experiences.
“Our tech suggests (and books) the what and where. You and our event pros bring the why. Together, we’re building gatherings that remind people they aren’t pixels on a screen,” said the company.
BoomPop taps into a cultural shift toward presence and imperfection, offering an antidote to flattened, efficiency-focused interactions. The funding will accelerate platform development and support scaling to bring more tangible, human-centered events to workplaces.
“The future of work isn’t contactless. It’s tangible. Full of energy, presence, and people,” the team added.
