Daylight, a cybersecurity innovator, secured $33 million in Series A funding, raising total capital to $40 million in one of the fastest follow-on rounds in cybersecurity this year. The round was led by Craft Ventures, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Maple VC, and several leading founders and investors.

The investment reflects strong market demand and rapid adoption. Within a year, dozens of enterprises across the U.S. and Europe, including The Motley Fool, Cresta, and McKinsey Investment Office, adopted Daylight to modernize security operations. Deployments now complete in under an hour, deliver up to 90% fewer false positives, and enable faster, deeper investigations that resolve threats rather than escalate them.

Security leaders increasingly recognize that traditional MDRs can’t keep up. Daylight addresses this challenge through a platform powered by an advanced AI-core and PhD-level analysts, combining automation and human expertise in one continuous system. This approach, called Managed Agentic Security Services (MASS), allows enterprises to scale defense without scaling headcount, unifying AI, automation, and elite human intelligence into a single autonomous service.

Momentum continues to accelerate, driven largely by word-of-mouth from satisfied customers. CISOs emphasize the same message: “This is what MDR was always supposed to be.” Rapid deployments, resolved alerts, and context-aware investigations prove the impact in real terms.

Daylight is now expanding operations across North America, enhancing analyst capabilities worldwide, and developing new modules for identity threat response and cloud workload protection. Each advancement moves closer to a fully autonomous, self-learning SOC.

The future of cybersecurity is agentic, adaptive, and autonomous, driven by intelligent systems that think, act, and learn alongside humans.” At Daylight, that future is already here and growing brighter every day.
