Enabled Talent, a Canada-based inclusive employment platform using AI to bridge the global disability employment gap, has been selected to join the prestigious UNICEF Startup Lab in Ghana. This milestone marks a crucial step in the company’s expansion across Africa and its mission to create accessible job-matching systems for people with disabilities.

The UNICEF Startup Lab, powered in partnership with KOICA Ghana and MEST Africa, supports early-stage, impact-driven ventures tackling systemic challenges in marginalized communities. Enabled Talent was selected for its innovative suite of tools — including voice-first navigation for blind users, neurodivergent-friendly onboarding, and inclusive screening systems.

“This is not just a win for us,” said Amandipp Singh, founder of Enabled Talent. “It’s a win for every disabled jobseeker whose potential has been overlooked. We’re honoured to join the Startup Lab and begin co-building inclusive systems for Ghana and the broader African region.”

Enabled Talent will pilot its platform across West Africa over the next 6–12 months, working with universities, disability organizations, and inclusive employers to develop practical, locally-adapted solutions for accessible hiring.

Call to Action: Enabled Talent invites African institutions — nonprofits, universities, and social enterprises—to partner with us in reshaping employment inclusion. If you are building or supporting systems for people with disabilities, we’d love to hear from you.
