Gloo, a Nasdaq-listed technology platform serving the faith and flourishing ecosystem, announced the acquisition of XRI Global, an AI company developing multilingual and voice-AI technologies capable of operating across thousands of languages. The addition of XRI expands the depth and commercial reach of solutions available through Gloo AI and Gloo360.
Gloo gains advanced multilingual and low-resource language capabilities through XRI, a company founded in 2018 and focused on custom AI for organizations in the health, faith, and humanitarian domains. With more than 7,000 languages globally — and approximately 6,800 still excluded from modern AI — XRI created a research-driven methodology enabling scalable AI development even for languages without training data or written systems. Over the past 18 months, XRI built AI models for more than 30 languages, supported by a team with PhDs in machine learning and linguistics and experience at Meta and Google.
