Gyde, an AI-native brokerage platform for insurance, wealth and health advisory services, announced the acquisition of Avid Health, a Medicare-focused agency based in Palm Beach, Florida. The move follows Gyde’s recent $60 million funding round led by Lightspeed and marks the company’s first strategic partner integration.
AI Infrastructure for Medicare Brokers
The acquisition brings Avid Health brokers onto Gyde’s platform, including GydeOS and Gia. GydeOS provides operational tools to grow client portfolios, identify coverage gaps and improve retention. Gia, an AI assistant, supports brokers by sending reminders, scheduling appointments and responding to routine client inquiries. The integration aims to enhance personalized guidance across Medicare Advantage, Supplement and Part D coverage.
“Avid Health represents exactly the kind of agency we built Gyde to partner with,” said Will Johnson, Co-Founder and CEO of Gyde. “They’ve spent years earning the trust of Medicare beneficiaries through genuine expertise and consistent service. Our job is to give their team the infrastructure and tools to grow faster without changing what makes them exceptional. We remain bullish on the future of the Medicare market and look forward to partnering with leading agencies like Avid Health.”
Scaling AI-Driven Brokerage Services
The acquisition supports Gyde’s strategy to partner with leading agencies and modernize broker operations through automation and AI-driven client engagement. The company aims to help brokers deliver proactive guidance as demand for Medicare advisory services grows.
