LetsData has successfully completed a $1.6M funding round, marking a significant milestone in the mission to equip corporations and governments with cutting-edge solutions to combat the escalating threats posed by information operations. The round saw participation from notable investors such as SMOK Ventures, Wayra (part of Telefónica), Tilia Impact Ventures (supported by the InvestEU Fund), 1991 Ventures, Google’s Ukraine Support Fund, and Startup Wise Guys. Additionally, angel investors like Pavla Bobosikova (CEO and co-founder of WFHomie, acquired by GoCo) and Marty Krátký-Katz (CEO and co-founder of Blockthrough, acquired by eyeo) have lent their support.
This funding will be instrumental in expanding LetsData's reach in the United States and Europe while enhancing technology to address the rising demand for advanced InfoOps detection solutions. LetsData, which began as a bootstrapped venture at the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, identified an urgent need for effective InfoOps detection. The company aims to bridge the gap created by under-resourced teams that cannot sufficiently handle these complex threats, offering a security-first approach from day one of onboarding.
Ksenia Iliuk, co-founder of LetsData, shared: “LetsData began as a bootstrapped venture during the onset of Russia's invasion of Ukraine when the urgency for InfoOps detection became undeniable. Most organizations rely on under-resourced teams that cannot adequately manage these threats. LetsData bridges this gap with a security-first approach, delivering actionable intelligence from day one of onboarding without complex training. Our mission is to become the industry standard for InfoOps detection, empowering organizations to respond swiftly and effectively.”
The technology utilizes advanced semantic AI models to analyze text and video metadata from platforms like Telegram, YouTube, and TikTok, uncovering the underlying intent behind coordinated malicious campaigns. LetsData’s solution is able to detect 80% more threats at their inception compared to traditional tools, allowing organizations to mitigate potential reputational or operational harm early on.
Andriy Kusyy, co-founder of LetsData, emphasized the company’s focus on not just identifying threats but also providing real-time solutions. “Technology should not just identify problems but actively solve them. At LetsData, we’re harnessing the power of AI to address an urgent global challenge — detecting and mitigating information threats in real-time. This funding will enable us to scale our impact and ensure that organizations around the world are better equipped to face the ever-evolving landscape of InfoOps.”
LetsData is committed to integrating actionable threat intelligence into organizations' workflows, enabling proactive risk mitigation and the safeguarding of operations. This funding marks a pivotal step in the company’s journey to reshape the InfoOps landscape and set a new standard for advanced threat detection. “We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what’s next,” concluded the team.
