Sigvi, a mobility technology startup building AI infrastructure for independent car rental operators, raised €1.2 million in pre-seed funding led by Superhero Capital, with participation from LitBAN Chairman Vladas Lašas and other angel investors. The investment will accelerate product development, strengthen AI capabilities, and support international expansion.
Digitizing Independent Car Rental
Sigvi aggregates vehicles from independent fleet operators and private owners while automating the entire rental process through AI. The platform manages dynamic pricing, bookings, keyless vehicle access, automated inspections, predictive maintenance, and customer support, enabling a fully digital rental experience.
"Europe is travelling more than ever, but the car rental experience hasn't evolved at the same pace," said Vytis Šliažas, CEO and co-founder of Sigvi. "Travellers expect to book a car as easily as they book accommodation. Meanwhile, thousands of quality vehicles owned by independent operators sit idle because they lack the technology to reach those customers. We're building the AI layer that connects both sides, unlocking cheaper, greener, and fully digital car rental."
Expanding Across Europe
Following a launch in Poland, Sigvi manages more than 200 vehicles and plans to expand the network to 2,000 vehicles within two years. The funding will support continued AI platform development and growth across European markets.
"Sigvi has found a structural inefficiency in a massive market and built an elegant solution around it," said Gytenis Galkis, Partner at Superhero Capital. "We see a clear path for Sigvi to become the digital infrastructure layer for independent car rental across Europe."
