Mirror Security, a research-driven cybersecurity company spun out of University College Dublin with offices in Pune, India and Dublin, Ireland, announced $2.5 million in pre-seed funding to expand its breakthrough AI security encryption platform. The funding round was led by Sure Valley Ventures (SVV) and Atlantic Bridge, with participation from strategic angel investors.
Mirror Security addresses critical enterprise AI adoption challenges by ensuring data confidentiality during model training and inference. Its Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) platform, VectaX, enables AI systems to process sensitive information while remaining fully encrypted, protecting proprietary data in real-time operations.
The company also revealed a strategic partnership with Inception AI, a G42 firm and innovator in agentic AI solutions, to deploy Mirror’s full AI security stack across Inception’s enterprise and government ecosystem. Additional partnerships include Intel, MongoDB, Qdrant, SiSys AI, and Accops, reinforcing the company’s global AI security presence.
Founded by Pankaj Thapa and Dr. Aditya Narayana K, a leading expert in AI security, Mirror Security combines academic research with enterprise-grade execution. The company’s IP-rich architecture, based on Dr. Narayana’s thesis and 23 team-held patents in cryptography, security, and AI security, is designed to handle real-world enterprise workloads.
The new funding will support expansion of engineering and AI security teams in Ireland, the US, and India, accelerate product development for encrypted inferencing and secure fine-tuning, and drive entry into US enterprise markets.
