Palette, a Copenhagen-based software company building an operating system for AI-native teams, raised €3 million in pre-seed funding led by Ugly Duckling Ventures, with participation from Emblem, Acadian Ventures and angel investors. The funding will support expansion of Palette Desktop, team growth and continued development of Palette OS.
Building Infrastructure for AI-Native Teams
Palette OS is designed to give companies control over context, workflows, files, decisions and organizational knowledge while allowing different AI models and agents to be used interchangeably. Palette Desktop provides a shared environment for teams to work with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Mistral, Palette and other supported agents on company files and folders.
The Mac version of Palette Desktop is currently available, with Windows support planned. Separate AI sessions allow changes to be reviewed before saving back to company files.
Expanding Palette OS
The €3 million financing will help bring Palette Desktop to more teams and expand the Copenhagen-based workforce. Development will also focus on a shared context library, reusable agent skills, integrations with company tools and handoffs between AI sessions.
Selected design partners are already using parts of the broader Palette OS as development continues toward a unified operating layer for AI-native teams.
