Renterra, a software company building an AI-powered operating system for equipment rental businesses, announced the closing of a $9 million Series A funding round led by Avenue Growth Partners, with continued participation from existing investors. The funding supports Renterra’s mission to modernize rental operations across North America.

Renterra serves hundreds of equipment rental companies in the U.S. and Canada, providing tools to manage inventory, contracts, online bookings, payments, and customer communications through a single platform. The solution is designed to help rental businesses operate more efficiently, make data-driven decisions, and improve customer experience.

The new capital will accelerate product development, expand engineering and customer success teams, and deepen the use of practical AI capabilities tailored to real-world rental workflows. Renterra focuses on applying AI to improve speed, profitability, and decision-making without adding operational complexity.

Avenue Growth Partners brings extensive experience scaling vertical SaaS companies and supporting founders building category-defining platforms, strengthening Renterra’s position as it expands its market presence and advances AI adoption in the rental industry.

We built Renterra to give rental businesses the same modern tools that power the best technology companies in the world,” said Andy Feis, Co-Founder and CEO of Renterra. “Rental businesses are the backbone of construction, infrastructure, and local economies, yet they have historically been underserved by technology. We are building the platform that will define how this industry operates for the next decade, with a strong focus on applying AI in a real-world, practical way for rental companies. We are thrilled to partner with Avenue Growth Partners and our existing investors to keep pushing that vision forward.

The funding also supports expanded onboarding, implementation, and support to ensure fast time-to-value for new and existing customers as Renterra continues building the future of equipment rental.
