Singulr AI introduced a new enterprise AI governance and security platform, now widely available and actively deployed across organizations in technology, finance, and healthcare. Alongside this launch, a $10 million seed funding round was secured, led by Nexus Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital, with contributions from prominent industry leaders.

A surge in enterprise AI adoption is reshaping the business landscape. In real-world customer environments, Singulr has identified over 500 distinct AI models and services in operation, with many duplicating functionalities. As AI continues to evolve, businesses must navigate security risks, increasing costs, and the complexity introduced by agentic AI, making robust governance essential for scaling AI initiatives.

The platform streamlines AI adoption through key capabilities:

  • Ongoing identification of AI usage, covering custom-built LLM applications, AI embedded in SaaS tools, and public AI services, while offering detailed insights into settings, user interactions, and sensitive data exposure.
  • Accelerated AI onboarding enabled by automated risk scoring, allowing teams to assess and approve AI models, datasets, and applications efficiently.
  • AI-driven security enforcement using context-aware policies that help organizations regulate access, issue warnings, redact data, and initiate security workflows.

"Companies are experiencing explosive growth in AI adoption across employees, partners, and vendors – but this surge comes with mounting security risks and costs," said Shiv Agarwal, CEO and Co-founder of Singulr. "Through our extensive market research, we recognized that the broad use of generative AI technology is a complex problem needing an enterprise-grade solution to scale and secure. We started Singulr to help enterprises rapidly adopt and operationalize powerful new AI technologies while managing costs and minimizing risk."

Founders Shiv Agarwal and Abhijit Sharma, known for previously developing Arkin Net (acquired by VMware), reunited their team to build Singulr. Within a year, the company transitioned from concept to a fully developed solution that integrates seamlessly into enterprise systems without requiring infrastructure modifications. The launch includes SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance, reinforcing security and reliability at an enterprise level.
