Trendtracker, a fast-growing Ghent-based leader in AI-powered strategic intelligence, announced the closing of a $7M Series A round. The company delivers an autonomous AI strategy and foresight system that streamlines strategic research, planning, and decision support for global organizations. The round was led by Armilar with participation from Capricorn Partners, reinforcing strong demand for AI solutions that help enterprises anticipate change.

Trendtracker is bringing much-needed clarity to a world where decision-makers are overwhelmed by noise. Their AI-powered approach to strategic intelligence is already resonating with global enterprises, and we’re excited to support Vincent and Mathias as the first investment of our new Fund IV,” said Pedro Ribeiro Santos, Managing Partner at Armilar.

Trendtracker’s platform operates as an always-on strategic intelligence engine, continuously monitoring global signals across political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental domains. The system links emerging trends to strategic impact, enabling organizations and governments to make faster, better-informed decisions.

We are a proud seed investor in Trendtracker and appreciate how the team converted the initial offering into a scalable SaaS solution for worldwide top-tier clients,” said Marc Lambrechts, Investment Director at Capricorn Partners.

Our vision is to redefine how strategy, risk, insights, innovation, and foresight teams operate,” said Vincent Defour, CEO of Trendtracker. “AI that quantifies change in-depth, understands context, adapts continuously, and reasons causally. The AI doesn’t just look at the past, but actively models strategic recommendations, predicting the future for businesses.

Trusted by global enterprises, Trendtracker supports organizations such as Siemens, PepsiCo, P&G, PwC, Arthur D. Little, and Ageas. “Trendtracker helps us set the right strategic priorities, drive innovation, and prepare for future scenarios,” said Hans De Cuyper, CEO of Ageas.

The platform’s predictive architecture uses coordinated AI agents to detect, score, forecast, and interpret emerging trends with transparent, explainable intelligence.

New funding will advance Trendtracker’s AI Analyst architecture, accelerate expansion in the US and Middle East, strengthen partnerships with consulting firms and enterprise platforms, and scale its hybrid team across AI, foresight, engineering, and commercial leadership.
