Gravity, the fastest-growing disclosure and budgeting automation company in North America, announced the acquisition of Cityspan, a prominent provider of cloud-based grants management and performance measurement systems. The acquisition expands Gravity’s product portfolio by adding comprehensive grants lifecycle management to existing disclosure, budgeting, and community engagement solutions, furthering the vision of creating a unified platform for all government financial operations.

Cityspan’s system supports every stage of grants management for both grantors and grantees, simplifying applications, contracting, performance tracking, and outcome reporting. The platform’s flexible architecture will be integrated into the Gravity technology stack in mid-2026, extending functionality across the entire financial suite and enhancing upcoming lease management and debt management solutions.

This acquisition represents a major step forward in our mission to provide governments with a comprehensive, connected financial management platform,” said Tyler Davey, CEO of Gravity. “Cityspan brings proven grants management technology that serves some of the nation’s largest public agencies. By integrating their capabilities into our platform, we’re enabling governments to manage the entire financial lifecycle – from grants and budgets to disclosures and community engagement – all in one place. We’re excited to welcome the Cityspan team to Gravity and to continue investing in their success.

The combined technologies deliver a unified system for managing the complete financial lifecycle, improving compliance, audit readiness, operational efficiency, and transparency. Governments using Gravity gain the ability to oversee grants alongside reporting and budgeting workflows, with additional capabilities planned for asset, lease, and debt management.

Data-driven transparency is transforming the way governments serve their communities,” said Mark Min, CEO of Cityspan. “Integrating Cityspan’s trusted grants and performance management technology with Gravity’s innovative platform extends our shared commitment to open, accountable government. Together, we’re empowering public agencies to turn data into impact, ensuring every program, budget, and report reflects the real needs of the communities they serve.

The Cityspan team will join Gravity, contributing expertise in grants management and performance measurement to drive growth and innovation for the integrated platform.

The announcement follows Gravity’s recent acquisition of coUrbanize, a community engagement platform, and the release of next-generation products Gravity Disclosure Studio and Gravity Engagement Studio, both powered by Gravity AI. These strategic moves strengthen the company’s mission to transform how governments manage resources, measure outcomes, and communicate with communities. With the addition of Cityspan’s grants and performance management capabilities and coUrbanize’s engagement tools, Gravity is creating the first fully connected financial management ecosystem for the public sector.
