Highnote, a leading audio collaboration platform, has raised an additional $2.5 million in funding, bringing in support from Dropbox Ventures and notable prior investors Afore Capital, Character Capital, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, and Precursor Ventures. The recent funding round also brought in prominent executives as angel investors from Figma, Atlassian, Abstract, and Dropbox, along with several returning investors from SoundCloud, Auth0, and Splice. This investment will help Highnote deepen its support for the audio creator community, including producers, mixing engineers, and artists.

In an era where music platforms like Splice and BandLab increasingly use AI to streamline production, the demand for collaborative tools is surging. Highnote steps in here, offering a seamless platform for sharing, discussing, and reviewing audio projects, while minimizing revisions and keeping all feedback in one space. A recent integration with Dropbox enables users to pull files directly into Highnote for lossless review, with a full two-way integration set to launch in November.

"As AI accelerates content creation, content collaboration is at an all-time high," said Jordan Bradley, CEO and co-founder of Highnote. "We built the industry’s best audio workflow layer so that collaborators can stay organized, efficient, and in control—no matter how fast things are moving. This partnership with Dropbox Ventures allows us to deepen our commitment to creators and accelerate our plans to provide a foundational layer for AI powered audio workflows.”

With ongoing partnerships with major industry names like Native Instruments, Highnote has broadened its reach, supporting audio professionals across companies like Netflix, Paramount, and The New York Times. By focusing on AI-powered collaboration features such as comment summarization and creative recommendations, Highnote aims to become a go-to platform for audio creators looking to streamline their workflow and centralize communication.
