LAUNCH Accelerator

Article hero image

LAUNCH Accelerator is a hands-on, 14-week program for startups ready to scale, raise funding, and join a tight-knit founder network. Backed by LAUNCH (the team behind This Week in Startups and Founder University), the program offers capital, mentorship, and access to a wider funding ecosystem.

What you get

  • $125,000 investment for 7% equity
  • Weekly programming with tactics, growth frameworks, and founder-to-founder feedback
  • Investor exposure through demo sessions and warm intros
  • Speaking opportunities on platforms like This Week in Startups and Founder University
  • Priority access to follow-on funding via LAUNCH’s syndicate and seed fund

Who it's for

The program is built for Pre-Series A startups with early traction. Specifically:

  • B2B / Marketplace: $2K+ MRR with 20%+ monthly growth
  • Consumer: 3K+ DAUs with 5%+ weekly growth
  • Deep Tech: Strong technical team and working MVP

If you're earlier than this, they recommend applying to Founder University, a 12-week virtual course for pre-MVP teams. Top graduates often move on to LAUNCH Accelerator.

Program format

  • Hybrid delivery: Mostly virtual, with select in-person sessions in San Francisco, and optional travel to Austin or New York City
  • Small cohorts: Only 7 startups per batch, ensuring high-touch mentorship
  • Team participation: At least one founder must attend weekly sessions, though other team members are welcome

Follow-on capital & long-term partnership

  • LAUNCH aims to grow with founders across rounds:
    • Pro rata or follow-on investments up to $250K in the next two rounds
    • Long-term target ownership of 10–15% over time
  • LAUNCH supports founders even if they pause fundraising or raise smaller rounds

Next cohort: January 2026
