Natural, a financial technology company building payment infrastructure for AI agents, raised $30 million in a Series A led by Kirsten Green at Forerunner, with continued participation from existing investors. The round brings total funding to more than $40 million and follows just 193 days after the company’s launch. Additional backing includes Human Capital, Abstract, Genius Ventures, Torch Capital, Restive, SV Angel and several technology founders and executives.
Building Payment Infrastructure for AI Agents
Natural is developing a payments stack designed to enable AI agents to transact securely, compliantly and at global scale. Core infrastructure covers ledgering, money movement, multi-bank settlement, multi-currency transactions, fraud and compliance, agent identity and observability.
Six products are already live, including Wallets, Vaults, Pay, Request, Transfer and Connect. Additional products covering voice payments, payment processing, cards, credit, API billing and agent-based billing are scheduled for upcoming releases.
Expanding Agent-Driven Commerce
Natural currently supports companies across agent-native commerce, restaurants, hospitality, property management, consumer finance and business operations. The platform enables businesses to create new payment flows, turn AI agents into merchants, and allow agents to move and manage funds for businesses and consumers.
The $30 million Series A will support continued development of Natural’s financial infrastructure as payment activity increasingly shifts from human-executed transactions toward AI agent-driven payments.
