OpusFlow, an all-in-one platform designed for renewable energy installers, has secured €3.8 million in growth capital from lead investor Move Energy, alongside Rise PropTech and existing backer Peak. This oversubscribed round follows a €1.7 million investment led by Peak in July 2024. The newly raised capital will support the strengthening of operations across key European markets — the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, and the UK — and fuel further international expansion.
Founded in late 2022 by Diego Smits and Joey Teunissen, OpusFlow has rapidly grown into a team of nearly 40 professionals. The platform unifies all essential processes for installers of solar panels, heat pumps, EV chargers, solar water heaters, and related technologies — covering everything from quotations and scheduling to inventory management, sales, and invoicing. Through advanced automation, the system reduces administrative project time by up to 80%, cutting it from an average of 7.5 hours to just 1.5 hours.
OpusFlow distinguishes itself through a modular architecture, enabling each business process — from quoting and cost estimation to customer portals, scheduling, inventory control, and procurement — to be seamlessly interconnected via plugins or modules. The cloud-based interface remains intuitive and visually engaging, ensuring easy adoption across teams. The pricing model offers full transparency: a single flat rate per user with unrestricted access to all modules and no hidden fees.
Co-founder and CEO Diego Smits explained how many installers face challenges with fragmented IT systems, relying on disconnected tools for scheduling, CRM, inventory, and quotations. “With OpusFlow, we are building the platform that enables installers to fully automate their operations. The new funding will help us support installers across Europe in expanding their services and accelerating the energy transition together.”
OpusFlow currently supports over 100 leading sustainable installation companies throughout Europe.
The €3.8 million investment will be directed toward enhancing the platform with AI-driven features and introducing new modules for additional renewable energy solutions, including HVAC systems, wind energy, and EV charging infrastructure. These upgrades will enable installers to diversify their service offerings within existing markets. Expansion plans include scaling the team across product development, sales, and customer success functions to support growth throughout Europe.
“The team’s drive and deep sector expertise, combined with a product-first approach, give us great confidence in the company’s international growth trajectory,” says Frederik de Hosson, Partner at Move Energy.
“The energy transition requires not just new technology, but scalable software that makes installers’ operations drastically more efficient. OpusFlow is uniquely positioned to become the European platform of choice for mid-market renewable energy installers. We’re proud to support the team in their international expansion and AI-driven roadmap,” says Gaëtan Baudelet, Partner at Rise PropTech.
“OpusFlow has quickly proven to be the operational software backbone for renewable energy installers. By integrating AI they are raising the industry standard, making them the ideal partner for installers looking to work faster, more efficiently, and with higher customer satisfaction,” says Thijs Dijkman, Partner at Peak.
