Key Takeaways:

  • Proaction raised $4.2M to modernize fleet management.
  • The AI-native platform aims to cut costs and streamline workflows.
  • Funding will support product development, AI operations, and team growth.

Proaction, an AI-native fleet management technology and services company, announced $4.2 million in funding to develop a modern, lower-cost alternative to traditional commercial fleet management. New investors include GTMfund, Breakers, Aviso Ventures, and Iowa InnoVenture, alongside continued backing from Holman Growth Ventures and the Iowa Economic Development Authority.

Replacing Legacy Fleet Management

Commercial fleets have long depended on legacy providers and fragmented software for asset management, maintenance, payments, claims, programs, and other operational workflows. Proaction combines AI-powered technology and fleet management services to reduce costs, improve visibility, and allow operators to manage workflows directly or move selected operations onto the Proaction platform.

Fleets have been stuck with the same legacy vendors and outdated processes for decades,” said Drake Bauer, CEO of Proaction. “We believe today’s technology creates an opportunity to rebuild fleet management from the ground up: lower costs, clear visibility, faster workflows, and a much simpler experience for the teams doing the work every day.

Funding Growth and Product Development

The $4.2 million investment will support product development, expansion of AI-enabled operations, and team growth across engineering, operations, sales, and customer success.

Fleet operators are already spending money on these problems,” added Bauer. “Our job is to become the optimal place for that spend to go, starting one workflow at a time and expanding as clients see the impact.
