ShipBee, a Qatar-based logistics technology startup providing an AI-powered digital ecosystem for shipping and delivery, announced the closing of a $500,000 Seed funding round led by GrowthX Capital to accelerate expansion of its digital logistics platform across local and international markets.
AI-Powered Platform Expansion
The investment will support development of the technology stack, including artificial intelligence integration to improve operational efficiency, optimize delivery routes, and enhance user experience. The funding will also enable team growth and expansion of the service provider network, strengthening positioning for larger governmental and enterprise contracts.
Unified Logistics Ecosystem
Founded in 2024 by Tamer Raafat and Amer Azani, ShipBee delivers a comprehensive platform combining a shipment marketplace, dedicated customer and driver applications, and Software-as-a-Service tools for managing local and cross-border logistics. Strategic partnerships include Qatar Post, DHL, NEXX, and multiple local retail and service providers. The Seed round follows a $235,000 Pre-Seed investment secured last year.
Investor Confidence in Flexible Model
Hamad Al Hajri, Founder and CEO of GrowthX Capital, commented on the investment, highlighting the regional logistics sector’s need for innovative solutions:
“The conditions of the logistics services sector in the region require new technical solutions that support the flexibility of supply chains and emerging market challenges,” Al Hajri stated.
He added that ShipBee “possesses a flexible model that allows it to offer competitive products.”
